The IAC launched, in 1996, the 1st edition of the CCH in Portugal, with the objectives of raising awareness in the community about the rights of the child in health services and to increase health literacy among children and families.<\/p><p>Since the 1st edition, the dissemination of the CCH has had an incredibly positive effect on the humanization of Hospital Paediatric services, involving all health professionals, families, and children in its fulfilment.
