National Strategy to Combat Poverty
Within the scope of the European Pillar of Social Rights, the Coordination Commission will be responsible to produce a National Strategy to Combat Poverty through which it is intended to mitigate inequalities and guarantee decent living conditions for all Portuguese citizens.
This proposal integrates specific measures, crossing different instruments and dimensions of public policy, integrating all audiences across, from childhood to old age, including the most vulnerable, and creating, a unique monitoring framework for the evolution of indicators.
